Biographical Sketch
The Catalan artist Riera Rojas belonged to the Paris School. He worked in various styles,
took on numerous
commissions for illustrations, among others for UNESCO (the Bible). He created his
Andalucian dancer series for the
Sala Gaspar Gallery in Barcelona. In his old age he retired to the fishing village Sa Tuna on the
Costa Brava, a small
village nestled among coastal cliffs. Riera Rojas died in 1992.
