Grafos Verlag Vaduz was founded in order to publish graphic editions by internationally renowned contemporary artists, and thereby provide a wide public access to their original works. Exquisite editions are the result of these long years of intensive collaboration between artists and the publishing house. Direct collaboration with the respective printing houses is a guarantee of high quality prints. Today, the graphic works published by Grafos Verlag are highly regarded, collected, exhibited and documented by the most renowned museums. The founder of Grafos Verlag Vaduz can look back on thirty years of publishing experience. It is truly an honor for the publishing house management to be able to offer an overview of the Grafos editions via Internet. This helpful documentation makes the prints more accessible, and simplifies the selection and ordering process for the collector. Each edition is accompanied by comments by a specialist and placed in the context of the respective catalogues in which they appear, so that today, each print can be seen visually and described in writing, informatively relating it to the whole of each artists oeuvre. More than forty artists with over 600 graphic works are included in the Grafos Verlag series (woodcuts, silkscreens, etchings and lithographs). It is clear that some collaboration projects have gone on for years, so that several, and at times a great many series could be published by single artists. An exquisite example of this are the editions by Joseph Beuys. Noteworthy are several representative editions of classical Modern as well as contemporary art, from Dalí, Miró, Moore and Vasarely to Schultze and Tàpies. On offer as well are prints by Antes, Bill, Byron, Castillo, Chillida, Christo, Dix, Ernst, Kokoschka, Saura, Tübke, Uecker and Villèlia, only to name a few. Particular emphasis lies on representatives of the Catalan art scene, which includes a group of graphic artists who attained esteem through their elegant illustrative artwork. Whether it be figurative or abstract, realistic, constructive or expressive, Grafos Verlag Vaduz editions have something for every taste, and above all are meeting the highest standards. In addition to editions produced exclusively for Grafos, there are also other projects taken on in collaboration with other renowned publishing houses (Erker Presse in St. Gallen, Galerie Maeght and Sala Gaspar in Barcelona). The documentation included also provides information on this. The range of our offer is thus unbelievably wide, and there are unknown worlds to be discovered here. With respect to the technique - based on hand-made runs, signed and numbered the greatest care was taken to keep the editions limited. This lends the graphic works a persistent radiating force such as can only emanate from original works of art. Grafos Verlag Vaduz thanks you for your interest.
